Cristiano Ronaldo expects to be back ‘in a week or two’ after suffering an apparent hamstring injury during Portugal’s draw with Serbia.
Ronaldo, the Juventus forward, limped off throughout the first-half of Monday’s clash, raising fears he could face an extended spell on the sidelines and miss the Old Lady’s Champions League quarter-final tie against Ajax.

Juve face the Dutch side away on April 10, with the return fixture six days later.
Max Allegri’s side also have league fixtures against Empoli, Cagliari and Milan scheduled in before they visit Amsterdam for their first leg of their European encounter.
Losing Ronaldo, who pulled up while sprinting for the ball down the left flank, would be a huge blow to Juve, as he scored a hat-trick in the previous round to knock Atletico Madrid out the Champions League.

Ronaldo has since allayed fears of a potential long-term absence, however.
He spoke after the match to provide an update on his injury, and the legendary forward claimed he should be back within a fortnight.
“I’m not worried about this injury and I’m not afraid,” Ronaldo said.

“I know my body well. I think I’ll be fine in a week or two.”
Ronaldo joined Juventus last summer after nine years with Real Madrid.
He is hoping to fire the Old Lady to Champions League success, with Juventus falling short in the competition since they last won it all the way back in 1996.
Should Juve win the European Cup this season, it will be Ronaldo’s fourth consecutive Champions League success.
