Chelsea vs Watford: Eden Hazard and Gonzalo Higuain return to Maurizio Sarri’s starting line-up for crucial Premier League clash

Maurizio Sarri has named Gonzalo Higuain to his starting line-up for Chelsea‘s clash with Watford on Sunday.


The on-loan striker was left on the bench for their Europa League semi-final first leg at Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.

Olivier Giroud took his place in the starting XI but Higuain has returned for the match at Stamford Bridge as they look to cement their top four status in the Premier League.


The Juventus striker has struggled since joining in January and has just four goals in 15 appearances for the Blues.

Sarri makes four changes from the side who played in Germany with Marcos Alonso and Mateo Kovacic also starting.


Watford welcome back Troy Deeney after his suspension and he replaces Andre Gray. Nathaniel Chalobah makes his first league start for the club since December.
